Founded in 2024 as part of the Nucleon Energy group of companies, Nucleon Fuel is advancing the SMT-5000, a proprietary uranium conversion module designed to produce approximately 5,000 tonnes of uranium hexafluoride (UF₆) annually, alongside project development activities in Canada and the United States.

Dustin Wilkes

Chief Executive Officer

Dustin is a chemical engineer and entrepreneur with a track record spanning petrochemical facility design, infrastructure development and energy sector leadership. He has designed facilities across methanol, biodiesel, oil refining, and ammonia production, and previously served as President and CEO of Parkland Pipeline prior to its acquisition by Tetra Tech. He is co-founder and chairman of United Pacific Projects Ltd. and President and CEO of WVL Capital Ltd.

Dave Pennington

GM, Nucleon Fuel US

David brings more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure advisory and finance, with a track record advising both government and corporate developers across the social infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy and utility sectors. Based in Chicago, he previously served as a Managing Director with BMO Capital Markets and led their U.S. infrastructure advisory business.

Will Bridge

Chief Operating Officer

Will is an electrical engineer and experienced board director with a background spanning generation technology, grid operations and energy governance. He served as Board Chair of the Alberta Electrical System Operator and as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice-President of Generation Technology at TransAlta. He currently serves on the board of the Fusion Energy Council of Canada.

Ryan Tourigny

Chief Development Officer

With a degree in electrical engineering, Ryan is an energy developer with extensive experience bringing conventional and renewable energy facilities to market across North America. He led development of the 150 MW Halkirk and 300 MW Blackspring Ridge wind facilities, and the 300 MW Phoenix Solar project, and previously served as head of Canadian development for Canadian Solar and Recurrent Energy.

William Cooper

Chief Technology Officer

Douglas Gray

Chief Administrative Officer

Douglas is a business builder and operational leader with more than three decades of experience scaling organizations across technology, services and energy. Following an exit from his IT Services firm in 2015, he led strategic initiatives at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) before joining Nucleon Energy. Douglas brings the operational infrastructure including systems, culture and organizational capability that allows a technically focused team to work at its best.
